Postpartum and sex?

Question

I am 5 weeks postpartum and had sex twice unprotected because my fiancé doesn't like condoms. Can I be pregnant? Does ovulation start so soon after birth? I'm a new mom and have no idea. Please no negative comments I'm only asking and just want answers. Thank you.

Yes ovulation can start. From what I've heard it's easiest to get pregnant right after birth lol I ain't gonna find out if it's true but a lot of people have babies right after. Just wait like 4 weeks and take a test

I'm worried to even have sex yet coz I had stitches. Don't think it would be ok? Did anyone try and find it too painful. My baby is four weeks today,.  Never gone this long without sex I'm quite missing it even though I'm not sex mad usually!

Yes. Ovulation can start without you having your period. And it's healthiest to let your body recover before getting pregnant again. That's why your doctor will discuss birth control at your six week follow up.
