What do you do about your SOs friends you cant stand

My husband has a group of friends that I cant stand.It is a whole family. He sees them every holiday, camping trips, weekend dinners and I would be fine with never seeing them again. To me they are rude and racist. But I am always polite to them and I dont want to cause drama so on holidays or times where my husband wants me to come i do. I have told him I dont like their rude comments and dont want to hang out with them but he still asks me to come. When you marry someone are you obligated to spend time with friends that are like family to them? I think yes, but the fact I have to see them almost every weekend is not a happy thought.
