So we live in a house that has four apartments on the same property. Is a weird set up I know. When we moved in we were told a tenet who just moved out was a sex offender, but he was gone so it didn't seem like a big deal. My son recently made a friend at school and then was told that the friends grandmother said he couldn't come over because "she thinks we're pedos." that made me curious if they guy was still incorrectly registered at our address, so I looked it up and discovered that two of our neighbors that still live here are both sex offenders! I'm not sure how to react. Neither of them disclosed this when we moved in and neither did the landlord. Our lease is almost up and we plan to move anyway, but I'm rather pissed. I know not all SOs are bad because my ex husband was one for sleeping with a 16 year old when he was 19, but one of the men's charges was child prostitution and the other said withheld but is a level 3 (highest level.)

I'm really mad about this. I don't think I want to stir the pot with the police because they honestly don't care about anyone in this neighborhood, but I'm almost more mad at the landlord. He didn't disclose the sewer issues, the fire damage in the house, the sex offender living on the property! I'm wondering if we can sue to end the lease early and get our deposit back. What would you girls do???
