Depo is the devil. Please NEVER TRY IT!!!

I just thought I would make a post to express how much hell I have been thru since getting on the depo shot (birth control) it is HELL! Every woman is different but for the most part I have noticed similar stories and I thought I'd share mine in case anyone was considering it, DON'T! (Bryson Tiller voice). Now before, my sex drive was a beautiful thing. I gave it to my man all the time & I loved every second of it. I tried new things to spice it up, even being 9 months pregnant I still have it to him on a daily basis! I went for the shot & the doctor told us to wait a week so she could test me for pregnancy before putting me on the birth control. We couldn't wait a whole week! We were addicted to each other. Shortly after getting on my first shot I developed horrible digestive problems, eventually leading to IBS!! It's been 4 months so far that I've been on depo & I have had  the sex drive of an elderly elephant. I've gained maybe around 20 pounds, so I don't have the energy for all the positions, if I do give it up I just want to lay there, and I literally don't enjoy it AT ALL!!! Like I just find something to think about to pass the time during sex & moan here & there, or I'll scream & he'll think it's because it's so good but really it's because it hurts like hell, because I don't get as wet as I used to, I guess from having no desire to have sex in the first place! The last time we had some decent sex, I had to watch porn first and basically get myself halfway off. I feel horrible for holding out the way I have been. And it's NOT ME! It's the depo!!!!! Not only that, but it's also effected my moods, making me extra snappy and sad all the time! Also its taken a serious toll on my bone density, making it hard for me to do normal things, it makes me feel weak, makes my body sore, AND makes my teeth feel like I just wish I could have them all pulled out, they are so sensitive!! If you want a healthy, and "accident free" relationship, stick to CONDOMS. Depo provera is not worth the risk!
