Paraguard iud question

So I had the iud inserted in November. I am on my second period since then. The first period was 7 days long, terrible cramps and really heavy bleeding. I expected that though so it was whatever. But my second period has lasted 11 days now. I bled 7 days a  decent to normal amount and the past 4 days have been spotting. Enough for me to wear a light tampon. Will it stop? Will it get better? Is this normal? This sucks 🙁
