Can someone help me with tampons?

I'm 16 and I got my period when I was 12 and ever since I've been using pads. I've tried using tampons but I just can't position them right or I'm doing something wrong because for some reason I just can't use them. My friends judge me for using pads so I would really like some help on how to use tampons. I've had sex so I don't think that impacts anything right? Anyway, thanks for the help.

If you use tampax pearl they slide in a lot easier and you can always rub a bit of lube or Vaseline whatever you have handy to help it slide in they also have an applicator so it shows how far to put it in etc and don't shove it straight up push it up slowly and it will just follow the natural direction it needs to go in (slight angle) If it's in the right place you shouldn't even be able to tell its there

Google it. That's what I did. And I got it! Once you get it, it just get easier and easier! Just make sure to change it every time you pee. And don't forget it's in there! Google, or read the paper in the tampons. you kinda need to tilt it a little facing your butt. I had to put my foot on the toilet to really see what I was doing.

Sex wouldn't affect if you can put in a tampon or not, tampons arent very big.  Get a mirror and put it on the ground and squat down, practice and eventually you'll get it.

You won't get it just right the first few times. You have to put it in just right if you don't want to feel it. Just relax and take your time.

I've used multiple brands and they all work fine for me, but the easiest way for me to get them in comfortably is to squat down in front of the toilet and put one hand behind on the toilet balance myself. Then just slide it in. Good luck!
