Cervical Mucus

Im on day 11 of my cycle and like usual I've been checking my cervical mucas daily (I've been doing this for the last 8 months), every month it's the same as it was the month before but this time its been brown everyday and today there was a lot and part of it looked egg white with a slight brown tint and the other part looked super brown maybe almost bloody and it was like the egg white texture... I know a lot of you will say it's old blood but why has this never happened before? I guess one reason I'm concerned is because this month I've been having pelvic pain almost daily and that is unusual, I usually only get pelvic pain during ovulation... I've learned how my body works over the last 8 months and this just isn't normal... I know I should see my doctor but it's the weekend and he's a three hour drive away, so I can't just hop in the car and go right over... Any input would be appreciated, Thank You!
