At risk for pregnancy related hypothyroidism

Tammy
I am 12 weeks pregnant and my doctor told me yesterday that my lab work showed I was at risk for pregnancy related hypothyroidism. She ran a follow-up test yesterday to see if my results had changed and I'm currently waiting on those results. She didn't seem to worried and said that 1/3 of women have hypothyroidism during pregnancy. If my labs have gone up she said she'll put me on a medication to regulate my thyroid. I went home and against my better judgement started googling hypothyroidism during pregnancy and am now totally stressed out. Does anyone have experience with this? I would love some reassurance or input.
