Contacted STI?

Question

If a man and woman don't have sex (penetration) but he lightly rubs his penis on the outside side of her vagina very briefly (without a condom) and never cums, how likely is it you think that he could have passed on an STI to her? I know some STIs can be passed from skin to skin contact, but how likely you think that would be in this scenerio?
When would be a good time to get tested for STIs to be sure?

If she or he has herpes, its very possible

HPV is another one, it just takes skin to skin and most people don't know they have it - especially guys. Condoms don't even completely protect you from it. Any genital skin that is even the slightest bit moist (like genitals are) can provide a host site for the majority of STI/STDs.

Herpes can. Other viruses is most likely from bodily fluids.

Herpes is the easiest to catch but without an outbreak you need a blood test.  That means, if you have been infected, you have to wait for antibodies to build up in your blood.  As I understand it, that can take a month or more.  If you're really worried about it, you should call your doctor and ask about being tested.
