Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)
I'm having the procedure done Wednesday morning and plan to go straight to work. My doctor said as long as I take the IBprofen ahead of time, it'll feel like mild cramping. I'm used to pretty intense cramps, so I wasn't concerned...until I went on the Internet.
So if you've had the procedure, is it really as bad as I read? Will I be able to function the rest of my day?
And does anyone have good news to report as a result of the HSG? I had some cysts removed a few years ago, so the concern is that there might be scar tissue that blocks the tubes, though there's no evidence that I don't ovulate, as I've had 3 chemical pregnancies in the last year.
