So my boyfriend and I have an apartment together. I work full time and am also a full time student, so during the week I'm super busy (but I have weekends off). He works a lot during the week too, but we usually both get home around 5/6:00. Once he gets home, he sits on the couch and watches tv, drinks a beer or 2 and calls it a night. I usually do dinner, laundry, cleaning, etc then get ready for bed as well. I enjoy staying busy and doing the housework, and he does help me out with some things. Well this weekend I was sick and didn't really do much. So he did the cooking and tended to me. Now I'm finally feeling better tonight and he asked me to cook the leftover chicken from dinner, and as I was folding laundry and cleaning I said "how about you do it?" And smiled. And he got mad and said "okay I'll just do everything!!" Isn't it funny, men don't realize how much women do until they have to take over! If we were to stop doing what we do for just one or two days, then they'd realize how much was dirty or out of place. Oh, how I can't want to see how it is when we have kids!  He actually just came in and hugged me and apologized as I was typing this. But can any other woman relate to this?! Is it men in general, or just mine?! Ha ha.
