Pharmacy Tech

I used to work as a "pharmacy tech trainee" in the last state we lived in which was AZ. I would like to apply to be a pharmacy tech at this one pharmacy on base but it requires a license. I was wondering if any of y'all actually went to school to get your license or how else you went about it? I am in online schooling now since we live in the middle of nowhere so online school is my only option and I did see a program for pharmacy technicians on there but since that school is based in AZ, Idk if it'll affect my obtaining a state license online if that makes sense? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
