Bleeding after 2nd trimester loss

I had a loss at just before 18 weeks. I delivered vaginally, and this was almost 2 weeks ago. My bleeding hasn't really slowed, it's still "moderate" in heaviness. I know and expect to bleed for 3-4 weeks but thought I would be at the spotting stage by now. What are other people's experiences??
