Revealing party or naw?

Do you think revealing parties are a must have our do you think they are overrated?

We didn't have a reveal party. I got a black balloon from Party City, filled it with baby girl confetti and let my husband record my 6 year old popping the balloon in our backyard to reveal the gender. We are the ones who really cared so we could get gender specific items.

Overrated in my personal opinion. We didn't do one for either child.

Indeed!!! Which is why our family just calls it a pamper party!! And we do the revealing then.

I think they're a bit silly.  But, I didn't even find out the sex of mine.  I actually liked not knowing.  
My reveal party was giving birth.  lol

I think it's good!! Just have everyone bring a pack of pampers. Have finger foods and cake for everyone it's a nice little get together

I chose not to have one with either of my kids. 
We did a cute reveal with family..but that was all.

I think they're fun... Especially if it's your __ child and a shower would no longer be appropriate, you can still have a little party with friends and family.

We just did handprints with our son. Husband did blue handprints on my belly in the shape of a heart. Took a picture and shared with family. Next baby, I want to record a video of him popping a black balloon. I was tired and annoyed during my baby shower so no to another one of those also. I am no fun while pregnant
