Suffering with a cold can you use sudafed nasel spray when pregnant?

Read lots of mixed reviews that some doctors are ok with advising pregnant woman who have a cold to use it whole others are totally against this advice.

Got a really awful cold and need something to get me through

Other stuff is not safe for bub

They don't recommend using anything during the first trimester, since that's when baby is developing the most. Second and third trimesters you can use a few things. Like Robitussin, or afrin. If you want to try something without drugs, like someone else suggested, saline sprays are good and making sure you've got a humidifier going (or boil a pot of water on the stove, etc) to make sure the air isn't too dry at home.

If you want something for your sinuses try a regular saline nasal spray or a neti pot.

I been told it's bad to use but I would ask your Dr if your not in your first trimester or close to your due date
