My ex doesn't want my 4 year old son to play T-ball because it's a "white person" sport.

Mind you my son is only a quarter black and really enjoys playing catch, throwing and hitting the ball. I feel like my ex shouldn't say those things to my son because for one its racist but also it's discouraging along with many other reasons. He also hasn't seen him in over two years and only talks to him on the phone so I feel like he shouldn't have a say in the matter.  What would you say to your ex?
