What is your opinion on polyamorous relationships?

Personally I feel like if someone wants to be in a polyamorous relationship they should be allowed to without ridicule. Even though I wouldn't do it myself, I feel like this is one of those "to each their own" situations. What do you all think? (By the way, no rude comments towards me please, I am allowed to think what I want and I think people should respect other people's opinions even if they don't agree with it)
