Early Period on active pills??

Question

I've been taking Gildess FE birth control for 2 months now and I started spotting yesterday, and today I started my full blown period with cramps and everything.. Funny thing is I still have a whole week of active pills before I start my non-active ones.. My guess would be that my body is still getting used to the pills, but has any one else experienced this??

Hi!! I started the exact same pill yesterday! And while talking to my dr yesterday she told me after 3 months you will expirience breakthrough bleeding. Now I'm not sure if that's what it is seeing your period is due, and it's only been 2 months. But it's something to keep in mind evaluate I was told that just yesterday while going over my bc pill which I the exact same one you said you are on!

Unless maybe ou began taking the pills on a different day than the Sunday after your period. I which case it could be normal and just the pill case is messed up weekday wise. They come with weekday stickers too. Because I began taking my pill lastnight I had to use a sticker starting with Monday! .... ☺️❤️
