Overwhelming, terrifying, exhausting, emotional, and joyful all at the same time.

My baby was born at 34+5 and was discharged from the NICU at 36. I felt a mix of relief, fear & happiness. He went from being monitored with nurses close by 24/7 to me and my boyfriend (moreso me). I definitely felt a little overwhelmed but it was amazing having him in my arms and around me all the time. I hated leaving him at the hospital :(
