Twin mommas!

It hasn't skipped a generation in my family Grandma has 3 sets of identicalsMy Mum is one of those twins and she had boy/girl twinsI'm now having boy/girl twins 

I'm a twin, and my twin sister is due with her twin girls in 6 weeks. Her Dr told her that there aren't any reliable /consistent studies that show that it skips generations...good luck!

From what i read about twins and it running in families or skipping generations, it's not that twins run in your family.. It's more that hyperovulation runs In your family.  Twins are only produced on the women's side of the family because the women decides with her eggs if it's twins or not. When people say it skips generations it's usually because hyperovulation gene was passed to a male child who can then pass the gene on again either to his female child or male child.. But only the female can produce the twins.  Sometimes the women just doesn't have twins so it can "skip" generation again.  Google hyperovulation 

When my mother was pregnant with me she was told twins. But she lost one and here I am. This is my fourth pregnancy and learned when we miscarried it was twins and we still have one of them. It doesn't always skip generations. 

I'm a twin and I was pregnant with twins but unfortunately I lost one earlier in my pregnancy.
