Just always think something will go wrong..

Im now 14 weeks and a day but my pre pregnancy weight was 170. Meaning im not showing really yet and i feel that a baby bump or the babys kicking is the only reassurance. Whenever i eat something the baby doesnt like he/she will let me know!! Or i'll have pains in my side or lower stomach.. but I havent been to the doctor since i was 9 weeks but i have an appointment for Nov.3. i'll be 16 weeks and 6 days then! This is my first prenatal appointment, will they do an ultrasound? & if so with me being this far could they tell the sex of my baby? or?
