Urinary Problem
Since I got a yeast infection the whole period I had it and was treated (5 weeks of a Diflucan pill take every Friday cause it was strong strain of yeast) I also had some bladder symptoms. There is some tightness whenever I go pee so it's like I relax to pee but it feels like my bladder tightens at the same time. It's uncomfortable as soon as I feel the tightness I clench up and bend over slightly until the feeling passes. When I'm just going about my day and I sit down, my urethra feels a bit "dry" and I feel some pressure on my bladder.
When I got tested for a yeast infection at the doctors they also tested for a UTI and it was negative. The doctor put me on phenzopyridine for 3 days so that it would numb my bladder lining but I didn't feel any change.
It's been 5 weeks now. But I don't feel the bladder feeling everyday -sometimes I don't feel it right before and during my period, and during my ovulation cycle, which makes me think it's related to yeast because the ph of the vagina rises during those periods and yeast can't survive in a high ph environment.
When I drink a bunch of water the tightness and pressure feeling goes away. I just don't understand what's wrong with me.
Please comment any advice or information you have, I have never had urinary problems so I'm not familiar with this at all. I just want to know what's wrong with me.
