Water breaking

With some of our due dates rapidly approaching ( mine is two month from today) I was wondering what everyone is going to do if their water breaks while they are in bed. I was looking into a mattress cover and even potty pads. With the potty pads I am concerned that they won't hold enough of the fluid and it will ruin the matter was. With the mattress cover I am worried that you will be able to feel the plastic through the sheets and it will make the bed extremely hot. I am a FTM and just need a little advice. I am not sure that if my water breaks it will be a little or a lot. Thanks in advance!!
