Clomid Veterans -- Is ultrasound monitoring common while on the drug?

My dr. hasn't done any ultrasounds as of yet. I took 50 mg last cycle and was anovulatory. She bumped my dosage to 100 mg this cycle and I've been monitoring bbt and so far I'm on CD15 and I still haven't had a surge. I'm getting very discouraged. I go for my 21 day blood draw next week! And I feel like my dr isn't taking me seriously.

Hi I'm going to be taking clomid soon but my Dr said he wanted to monitor me. I have bought the medication n my period will start soon but he wants me to be monitored? Are the ultrasounds neccesary or optional? I want to start the pills already! ?

I am being monitored the whole time. First month has consisted of full blood panels, provera, blood draw and ultrasound on CD4. Hysteroscopy of my uterus (went well) and Saline Tubal test tomorrow to rule out any blockage. Then going back on CD12 for monitoring win blood draw and CM test (intercourse the night before to view sperm in CM). I highly recommend finding a reproductive endocrinologist! These fertility specialists have so many tools to help you!

This is the same treatment my Dr. is giving me. Ultrasound Monitor on the 3rd day, then x amount of days later to ensure Follicles are good and trigger shot if needed.

My dr made the monitoring optional for me. I didn't do it for the first two cycles of clomid, but I did for the 3 and I'm going today for my fourth clomid cycle. The first three rounds of clomid 50mg, I didn't get a positive OPK until CD17 or 18, so don't get discouraged. The third month she have me the trigger shot of HCG to ensure I ovulated. I'm on CD14 today and going back today for another ultrasound and trigger shot. Baby dust to you!

This is my fifth cycle and I've had zero monitoring. I go in on CD21 every cycle for hormone level bloodwork but that is it.

My doctor is terrible. I am currently looking for a new RE. But she wrote me a prescription for 3 months of Clomid and told me to call her if I got pregnant otherwise we would come up with another solution. No monitoring for me which made me nervous after seeing how many women are monitored on the drug. Two rounds of 50 so far no pregnancy, I start third round tomorrow.

Yes, I'm being monitored the entire time. An Ultrasound on the 3rd cycle day before I even started taking Clomid. Take it day 3-7 100mg. I go back on CD 12 for ultrasound to check to see if I have a healthy follicle and possible trigger if RE thinks I need it. & go back on CD 25 for pregnancy test!
