How easy is it to lose weight after baby?

I was just wondering how easy it is to lose weight if you don't plan on breastfeeding and suggestions!

During my last pregnancy, I gained about 22 or 23 pounds (I delivered a month early).

I lost about 10 pounds during delivery and the week after. It took about 4 months to fully shed the remaining weight. I breastfed and exercised intensely, so I was very cautious to not restrict calories too much (I was also working and pumping, so I didn't want to sabotage my supply).

My goal during pregnancy is always to gain slowly and steadily, and I have the same philosophy when taking the weight off.

It is different for everyone. I lost all my pregnancy weight within a month or so of each baby, but breastfeeding had the opposite effect for me (as it does for many women) and I steadily gained it back during the months I bf. I was still nursing my youngest when I got pregnant this time so I'm starting out way heavier than I've ever been before. However, I lost weight in the first tri and have not yet made it back to prepregnancy weight so far. I'm hoping that is a good sign that things will go differently this time.

I Gained almost 50 with my first. I lost 15 lb first few days and took me 7 months to lose the rest. I didn't find time to exercise much and I didn't breast feed. I did diet tho. I was down an additional 10 at one year post partum.

I think it took me 5-6 months. I had a csection and a winter baby so was pretty sedentary for the first several weeks. Excited for May delivery and a successful VBAC this time around. Breastfeeding helps . There's 20 cal in 1oz! However you have to really watch your food intake once you start weaning or the weight can creep back up.

It really just depends it always takes me a little longer but I feel like it's because I've always had a csection. Usually takes me around 9 months. I know people who have lost it all within a month though. Breastfeeding does help because you burn calories and it helps the uterus contract so gets it back to normal size faster.

It's different for everyone. I have ended up weighing less after each baby and the weight came off within weeks. That's with no dieting or exercise. My  sister has never lost the weight from being pregnant but works out daily and eats way healthier than I do.

I would count on a 20 pound weight loss within a week after giving birth. I lost the remainder (12 pounds) within a month but I was breastfeeding so I would say with proper diet and exercise you could count on losing about 2-5 pounds a month.
