Being a feminist is simply believing that women are people, and that we deserve equal rights to health care, education, and to vote, among many other things

Im all about that girl power, women's rights, women equality but I also believe that my husband is the head of the household, the leader of our marriage & family & the decision maker. So many women are focused on proving that they're just as good as men that they don't let men treat them right. My husband treats me better than most men treat anyone but I make his breakfast, lunch & dinner everyday, make sure our condo is clean for him & make sure he has no worries besides keeping our home financially afloat. I think roles in today's society is abscured. My husband is the most hardworking man I've ever met, of course I'm gonna make sure everything else at home is done for him. Most women should think that. I wish I lived in the 50s where women were real women.

I need feminism because our society teaches girls how to avoid rape, instead of teaching boys not to do it in the first place.

I'm not sure I'm buying what feminists are selling. They say its all about equality, and women's rights or whatever, but how many women actually try to BE equal? What makes you think you should get the same treatment as men even though you aren't willing to do the same things? To me it seems like you just want recognition for being female. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm totally open to new ideas.
