What would u have done?

So my SO is very protective of his siblings and teaches them to defend themselves. He has an 18 year old sister. His sister was at school today while some guy was making sexual comments to her. He wouldn't stop so she dumped her lunch tray on him. He started yelling at her and she then hit him over the head with a chair. She was suspended for 4 days. Do u think she did the right thing? What would u have done?

I think she over reacted, if some guys did that to my girls when they're older I'd expect them to ignore not behave in that manner

I probably would've dumped the tray on him but the chair was not necessary. But I also would've called him out on how he was acting. I laughed until I saw the chair thing tbh.

She overreacted. You should usually respond with equal force. Dumping the tray was a bit much but hitting him with the chair was overboard. She would have been better off telling him off and walking away or complaining to a teacher or something.

Stuff like this will continue to happen in life and you can get written up, fired, sued etc for overreacting.

Physical violence seems a little extreme. If this was at school I could understand dropping her tray on him, but I would've left the guy and found a teacher or administrator.
