Zika virus

So of course I get an alert from my school today about the first reported case being in our city so I'm freaking out. I'm no where near getting pregnant soon (I mean not intentionally lol) so I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this disease. I read that the woman no longer has it so what does that mean? I know I want to get pregnant soon and I really really don't want a baby with a birth defect. I mean idk what to do like I use tinder and I know I'm not sleeping around with these guys but what if I meet someone I like and want to sleep with them is this a testable disease?
