If this were my husband, I would be incredibly proud of him for trying to do his job without resorting to killing someone. And I would be pissed af at anyone stomping all over his memory to push their own agenda.

This is so disrespectful to his life, his family, and friends. How dare someone make this to push their own agenda. Wtf is wrong with people? I feel bad for cops, if they don't shoot they could be killed... They do shoot then everyone's in a uproar over a criminal, that cop will lose hide job and need to TRY and start life over. You pull a weapon on a cop expect to either get hurt, tased or shot. I won't feel bad for you or mourn for you, you broke the law and threatened a innocent persons life.. Cops are people like you and I with people who love them and are waiting for them to come home

My husband is a cop and they're trained to not use a deadly weapon unless all other options are used up. Just so they can't be sued for using to much force. It's just how the departments are doing things now.

I think this meme hit the nail on the head. If someone is trying to kill you, and you are a police officer, it is your duty to eliminate the threat, which means you have every right to kill them. Things in North America have gotten so out of hand. We're crucifying cops that do their jobs properly because a few cops made bad decisions. Good cops are second guessing themselves (and their training) and dying. To any officers (or wives of officers) out there reading this, do what you were trained to do. Protect yourselves and the public, and come home safe.

As a law enforcement wife, I will tell you all that an officer should and will shoot you if you pull a weapon (real or fake). If someone pulls a gun on me, I'm not waiting to see if they're going to shoot or not. Don't want to get shot? Don't pull a weapon on someone. My prayers go out to his family.

People don't realize cops are trained to make a life and death decision in a split second. Pulling the wrong one can mean losing your life. Society needs to stop trying to tell the cops how to do their jobs because they don't know the amount of training that goes into it. It's so sad that someone made this meme but I can see what they were trying to say. It was horribly done but I can see it.
