TMI period or implantation bleeding?

So my period is due in 1-4 days. I usually range 30-34 days. My husband and I had sex this morning and there was a very scant amount of light colored blood on the sheets. That was this morning and no more blood since. Has anyone experienced something like this and it have been implantation? Hoping and praying we are pregnant. Scared to take a test for it to be negative. Trying to hold out a few days. I of course have symptoms of both pregnancy and my period so I'm just a mess. Looking for any insight.
