Advice for gym moms
I do not have a child however I have worked for a few gyms in many areas... Generally speaking, I would avoid putting your child in your gym's daycare service unless you fully fully trust the people and place. Seems like common sense but the most anal and overprotective moms would still bring their kids into my gym. There is very little that goes into the hiring process besides a background check. No prior experience with children is needed. And there is often a "limit" of 20 kids to 2 adults which is way too much.
After working around this and witnessing a lot, I've always vouched I will never bring my future child to the gym with me.
Ask A LOT of questions before putting your child in the hands of incompetent people.
***note: if you have experience with a good gym daycare - great. Don't come at me with an argument. I'm not a spokesperson for gyms. I'm letting women know that from my experience, there is a lot they don't know about what is going on.
