Need advice
I live with my boyfriend and his grandpa...
His grandpa is always getting ripped off by scams.
Well today I heard some woman's voice upstairs and waited until whoever it was left to see what was going on. His grandpa told me some woman from Census showed up to ask some questions, he told her he lives here alone.
She left her business card but all I can pull up are her resumes from 2011 stating that she reported to the Boston office which is now closed...her office has the New York location referenced but she's not listed as a current employee on the site.
I read on the federal website that they are supposed to leave a letterhead letter with supervisor info on it if they come and she did not do that.
I'm laying in bed with knives worried that someone just scoped our house out to break in and just found the perfect situation.
I'm scared. His grandpa refuses to lock the doors to the house, doesn't see an issue. It's a Sunday night, the Feds aren't even open on Sunday's and I don't want to go to sleep. I'm thinking of going to my future MIL's overnight...am I blowing this out of proportion?
