I think it's great if the guy is on board but if he's not then you'll get rejected and it'll be awk as hell. Men are socialized that proposing is their responsibility and it can be emasculating for them to be proposed to.

I don't understand why girls are trying to do everything guys are supposed to do.. Women weren't made to do everything a man can do we were made to do everything an can't do... Proposing is the guys responiblitity ... If you have to ask something isn't right...
