Is everyone having a baby shower?

Am i the only one who isnt? Lol i had 2 with my son but i dont really know anyone in this area so im using my tax return for the most part 🙂 my mom is bringing me a crib & an infant carseat & my glider so the big stuff is taken care of. i just cant seem to remember what all else im gonna need lol pregnancy brain is NOT on my side lemme tell ya. Haha

I haven't had one for this baby and I'm not expecting it. I kept everything from my daughter cuz I knew I wanted more kids, I just gotta trade the pink stuff for neutral. So glad I bought my travel system unisex tho. So far the only thing new we'll get besides some boy clothes would be the exersaucer triple fun since it grows with the child n I'll need somewhere to put him down besides his bed. Didn't have a swing for my daughter either so might borrow one from my aunt if she still has hers. And cold weather stuff since we moved to a part of Florida that actually has winter lol

We aren't having one. We live 20 or so hours away from family and I only have a couple of friends so we are skipping the shower and getting most of the baby stuff with our tax return.

I had one with my first daughter and since I'm having another girl I already have all the big stuff so I didn't want one but their dads family are hugeeeeee on family stuff so they're throwing me one anyway lol, it was fun a to just but the items I want on the registry tho without worrying about what I need all cute clothes and baby supplies

I probly wounds have a shower either if it was my 2nd or 3rd kid... being a first time mommy, I have no idea what I need so I'm hoping other people do lol

I tried to have one for my first but only my mother and brother and his wife came. A couple people told me they couldn't make it for legit reasons (such as MIL) but most just never responded even when I kept asking them repeatedly to just tell me yes or no. It was a huge waste of time and money. My MIL tried to make not being able to make it up to me by throwing another shower where she lives 2hrs away when I was going to be 38w. I told her no way in hell am I leaving the area that close to having the baby and told her to reschedule for after the baby was born cause there were actually a lot of yeses for that shower (hubby's family that I haven't met so figured a sip and see would be better anyways) but she refused and said they'd have the shower and we could just come get the stuff later. They ended up not having it last minute. I'm not even going to try for any kind of shower this time even if someone offers.

I decided not to and just put the monies towards the baby's stuff. I guess if it was warmer I would have done something but wasting money on a venue and catering seems silly to me right now.

Not me. This is #3, and in my area we only do showers for first babies.
My friends will take me out to celebrated, we will do a mani/pedi date then dinner. No gifts needed. I kept literally everything, just have to buy a few things (infant car seat since mine expired)

If the baby is the same sex as previous child and you have everything still i see no reason for another except to stock up on diapers n wipes. With my family first child is a huge babyshower. 2nd child is smaller and laid back.

Same. I had one with my first but that was only because someone was nice enough to throw me one. I'm not really worried about not having another shower because it's never been a big deal to me to be honest.
