2nd cycle on Clomid! Had a question?

So AF visited on 2/10. I called my Dr and was proscribed 100mg of clomid and to start the first pill on 2/14. When does one usually ovulate while on clomid? Because all of the places I've seen on the Internet and my dr are telling two different things! Dr said to start BD every other day between 2/10-2/17. If anyone has any information that could help me out that would be great! TIA!!

I'd recommend using an opk but sometimes it just gets confusing. What your doctor ,  sounds good, but you may want to BD longer but start on day he said because BD b4 ovulation important to catch the egg. I got a positive digital lh surge on my opk (round 3 of clomid) and I went in on cd21 for progesterone blood test and test came back that I didn't ovulate. Maybe I just didn't ovulate yet? But who knows. I'm feeling so tired and crabby and emotional today on cd 29 so I think AF is on her way. Any moment now. 😞. I ovulated my second round also at 100 mg but did not get pregnant then either. I'm so tired of the side effects.  One day I feel great, then the next I'm feeling soo tired and so angry.  I really hope your experience is much better, I'm sure it will be! 💕.... wishing you lots of baby dust!!

My first cycle I got a positive opk on day 14, second cycle was day 19. So it can vary between cycles.

Me too,I read that a lot of women ovulate later while on a round of clomid. But for me, it was cd 13 :) confirmed by basal body temp and cm ! So you never know...i know its not always possible bjt if you can bd every other day cd 10 to 24,it would be the best I think! GL :)

They say you will O 5-10 days after your last pill. Alotttttt of women say how it's normally always later rather than sooner.

Around ten days after your last clomid pill. Is what I was told. But clomid can also make you ovulate later. I ovulated on cd22.

My days and medication are almost identical to yours.

Did 50mg of clomid day 5 of my cycle in January.  I took the clomid through day 9 and ovulated around the 13th day of my cycle.

I didn't conceive.

This month, however I'm taking 100mg of clomid. Today was my first day as it's the 5th day of my cycle. I am taking ovulation test everyday untill I peak. Intercorse every other day for the next two weeks.

The say everyday it not the most efficient way.
