Do you plan to do genetic testing? If so, what influenced your decision?

Even if I found out something was wrong with my baby, it wouldn't change anything. I'd still love it just as much :)

Just as a precaution to know early on if (God forbid) something's not right I'll have some time to research and prepare for any outcome.

I knew it wouldn't change anything regardless of the results, but I would rather be able to prepare for a special needs child than be surprised. And with some conditions, baby would fare better at birth if the medical staff knew ahead of time too.

We didn't do it because we wouldn't terminate on a risk factor as that what we were told we'd get. We're young and our scan came up normal so I'm happy not to have done it. Plus I'm a worry wart and didn't want the extra stress of what might be.

After our abnormal Nuchal scan we opted to have the genetic testing so we could find out what we were up against. I am high risk and have ongoing medical conditions so knowing helped us. Our bub has been cleared of genetic issues but we have a scan Friday to check on the heart again.

Oh i voted wrong lol I will do the testing because I have two other kids and have worked in the health care industry for 7 yrs and I would not raise a child with special needs.
