Misoprostol dosage??

I had an ultrasound 3 weeks ago and the dr said my baby's heartbeat was slower than she would like. Went in today to see how things were going and there's no heart beat... Basically stopped growing after the last scan. She gave me choices for the pill or D&C and I chose the pill. Well it was just 2 pills she told me to take orally. Anyone know how it works? I've had some cramping mild and bad, but haven't passed much.
