Fibroids and pregnant

I went in for my 6 week appt today and was fortunate enough to have an ultrasound. I saw my little bean and everything looks great with baby. My concern is, I also have two fibroids that are fairly large. One is 6cm and the other is about 9cm. I don't know what this means. I don't meet with the doctor for another few weeks unless she sees something wrong or concerning. Have any of you ladies delivered with large fibroids? Side effects on baby? Pain for mama?
