Soda pop causes an HPT to show positive!!!

OK, I know what you're thinking why would anyone in the world ever try this? Well last night I was googling what can cause a false positive on a pregnancy test, and soda came up... Well my skepticism got the best of me, so I went to the bedroom and got one of my Wondfo hpt tests, dipped  it in a cup of Coke and sure enough it was blatantly positive... I couldn't get over how a carbonated beverage could produce a false positive but it can... Don't believe me? Try it yourself lol you won't believe it!!!!!
