He raped me

I met a guy online who is a year younger than me. He lead me on a lot and told me he would make me his gf later on. we talked for four months and during that time he never made me his gf it was just sex and dates. He rapes me at some point (hands on my mouth and i crying and everything)and i have the texts where he admits it. He also choked me during sex once but i thought it was some sort of fetish. Now i know that he's dangerous. He also brings me down a lot. He says that he doesnt care about my stupid" anxiety. 

i continued to date him even after the rape/: i don't even know why. 

I am spiritual and i gave him an opportunity thinking he would change.i found out i am pregnant a week ago and im not sure if i conceived that baby the day he raped me or other times we had sex.... I seriously don't want him near the baby when its born because he is obviously dangerous. I haven't reported the rape. This happened in California. What do you guys think i should do? If i go to the police about the rape,and ask for a restraining order, will he still be able to get close to the baby when he gets out of jail? 

He said he only wanted to know about the baby and not me.
