So! To make a long story short I'm going to make some points.
SIL met her husband last jan. he is not a Australian citizen and travelled from Iran suddenly in 3 months we find out they got married she believes he loved her so much and they wanted to marry straight away but everyone else just saw that he wanted permanent residency. MOVING ON

- his brother was married to a 7 year old back in Iran. His brother is 40.
 When I found this out I was disgusted! And my SILS husband was defending his brother saying that over there it's normal. 
Since he said this I've decided I no longer want him around me or my children and my SIL cracked it at me but honestly I don't give a fuck!

Just because his brother was married to a child doesn't make your brother in law a pedophile. Child brides ARE normal in Iran and in a lot of places. They're not illegal there and PARENTS marry their girls to grown men. It's wrong but it's culturally accepted by a lot of people.

Maybe that's why he moved away, I'd feel uncomfortable too, but just because he defends his family culture doesn't mean he agrees with it necessarily. Talking bad about his culture would also make him talk bad about his family.
