What to expect?

So I'm scheduled this friday to have my baby in c section. The lady that call me told me i have to come in a day before to take some blood work and then meet with anesthetic i hope i spelled that right.. Anyways why do they have to do all this a day before my scheduling c section?

You're having major surgery; most people who have any surgery like this have pre-operative appointments for blood work, etc. Totally normal! 😉

My pre op appointment is on Weds for our scheduled c-section next week on Friday (March 4th). I was guessing it would be meet the doctor, discuss procedure, answer any questions, take vital signs, some blood work and do paper work (consents and such) so you are ready for the big day.
