Constant lightning crotch.. What is up with that?!

I'm kind of having an almost constant sharp pain in my crotch for about the last hour and I did have some period like pains earlier but only twice and it wasn't one after the other and my down there feels like it's getting very uh wet. Haha sorry if that's tmi. Does this mean anything?! I'm a FTM and I'm 13 days away from my due date...

2nd time mom here. Hopefully i can help you ladies a little. Lightening crotch is due to the baby dropping lower into pelvis, getting into position for labor. The discharge is normal and is probably the mucous plug about ready to come out. The cramping is like a pre contraction. A contraction is like a period cramp on crack. It will be way more intense (at least that is how mine were).  All of these are good signs that your body is getting ready, although it doesn't necessarily mean it will be any time soon. If you are worried, never hesitate to call your doctor. That is why they get paid the big bucks. Almost there ladies :-)

I've been having sharp pains on and off in my vagina the last few days! I'm only 36 weeks. It's not constant but I def get them.
