Celibacy

I just recently got out of a relationship and I've never been the "Virgin" type since 13. But me and my ex are still talking as friends that hope to get back together once out life is better seperately. But I've been debating on being celibate. I don't wanna have sex with anyone else but him and I don't wanna have sex with him so I don't send him mixed signals. I just don't know if I can do it. Any suggestions?
