Two months ago I got hired on for a job at a entry level position that pays slightly better than my previous one. I took the job because I have a guaranteed position once I graduate college. (Being 3/4 if the way done with my social work degree) Last week I got my BFP!! :). But due to my experience level I was placed with very violent male criminally insane individuals at a state hospital. I was uncomfortable with this before my BFP and now the risk of injury to my baby is even more stressful. Had I of known of the current circumstances I wouldn't have taken the offer. I know that your workplace cannot discriminate against you due to pregnancy so would it be more reasonable to request another position or to ask to hired after the baby comes?
