Mirena IUD
Hey ladies! Just thought I would tell you guys about my experience with the IUD. I've had the Mirena for 5 years and it is time to get it out and get a new one put it. I've had issues with the thing. For example, bad cramping, it poking my S/O, and some times just painful shooting sensations. Every time I've went to the doctor they've said everythings fine. Well I went to get it out yesterday and they went to pull it out and it was the worse pain I've ever felt. It wouldn't come out. They then did and ultrasound and said that its embedded in the right side. So now i have to go through getting put to sleep and having them use tiny scissors to get it out. I am still going to get the other one put in because I am not allowed to be on the pill or any other birth control because of my epilepsy medicine, so i have no other choice if I don't want kids right now. Just thought I would share that with you. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.
