Sonohysterography or HSG??

Question

Have you had either of these proceduresdone? I'm booked for it next week and I'm a little nervous. What should I expect?

My friend had mild blockage, and conceived the very next month after.  As she put it  "it  blew the tubes clear". 
Another friend found out she was completely blocked with one.

I had my HSG a little over a month ago after TTC for 1 year. It was a quick and only slightly uncomfortable procedure. I took pain reliever beforehand. It starts like a regular exam, I didn't feel anything when the catheter was inserted, but I did have some cramping once the dye was inserted (a little more intense than a menstrual cramp). I did some deep breathing which helped and by time they took the X-rays, the cramps started to subside. Then it was all over! It was seriously like 5 minutes.. I was nervous too, but I got pregnant the very next cycle so it was definitely worth it! Best wishes!
