This wait to take a test is brutal!!

Need some love ... I'm 6 days away from when my period should start and don't want to be disappointed with a negative result too early. Married for 4 years, in my early 30's and ready for little ones with no luck to date. I feel like this could be the month tho. The  morning after my peak fertile day/ sex I threw up and then felt perfect. Just and odd sign my body was telling me something is up as I can't even remember throwing up for any reason.
