Any mothers recently get an epidural?

I'm scared of going natural again but I'm also scared of the side effects of the epidural I always hear horrible horror stories on it.. Is it really that bad ladies let me know please my due date is approaching soon

I had an epidural and it was the best decision I made. Pain went away although I did feel pressure (but it wasn't painful). I got to the hospital around 2pm and delivered at 7am.. so a long delivery but things went just fine.

My mom told me that it messed up her back really bad. She had 12 kids and had most of us naturally. I'm the first born and she said I was natural. But the one baby they did have to give her the epidural with her back was messed up since. So I am seriously considering just going natural to avoid any possible side effects after hearing her stories

I have had two epidural with no major issues. I have only known 1 person who had a bad experience and almost died with a misplaced epidural.

I had one last Saturday and it was  wonderful!!! I thankfully didnt have any problems afterwards.  
Even if i didnt want one i wouldve had to anyways bc i ended up having an emergency csection.

Mine didn't hurt to get and had no side effects, but my labor moved so fast it didn't have time to work, so unfortunately I can't tell you what it's like to actually have one!

I had 1 with my son. The only downside is that I was so numb I couldn't push right so they couldn't give me anymore. I had to have it wear off and push without pain meds.

No one will be able to decide for u..I had one I was scared of needle but happy to be pain free lol.. the top of my right knee thigh area felt like it was asleep for 3 months due to nerves but I'm still getting another
