What's to young to ttc?!

Question

I'm 24 and my husband is 27 we've been married for two years and just bought our first house this summer. We both have great jobs I'm a nurse and he's an electrician. 
We've been getting some nasty comments about trying to convince from his mom saying I'm too young and she won't be supportive. I don't see anything wrong with having a baby now! But of course I want her to be supportive of it when it does happen!
What do you guys think? 
How young were you when you had your first?

Y'all seem to have your s&@+ together and you're grown a$$ adults so I think you're more than capable of making that decision. I wish everyone was this stable before ttc!

I am 24 as well will be 25 early next year. My husband and I have been together for almost 6 years married a little over a year we just started ttc. My family is supportive his mom is not. She calls us kids and says things like your still young. We both graduated college and have our careers we know we are ready so screw them. I think as long as your life is stable and your relationship is stable then go for it

I was 22 when I had my first! I'm now 26, pregnant with my second and my husband is 24. You're married with good jobs...go ahead and have a baby!!!!! You seem more stable that most!!!!!

Im 21 pregnant with my first with my husband. I think too young to try an have a baby is if your a teenager. Your definitely not too young

You need to do whatever feels right for you and your husband! Your mother in law is not an equal decision maker in your marriage and family matters!

In my opinion, 20 is too young, but 24 is fine, especially since you've been together for a couple years, have a house, and both of you have good jobs. Go for it, if that's what you and the hubby want to do! Stand your ground, tell her that you've thought long and hard about your decision, and that you're an adult. She'll fall in love with that baby when it comes out, just don't prevent her from being a part of the kid's life (she'll just resent that and continue to think she's right). Good luck! ☺
